Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander books and tv seris have inspired countless people to visit the Scottish Highlands. We will visit Culloden Battlefield, where in 1746 Jamie Fraser stood with his fellow clansmen and fought to reclaim the Stuart throne for Bonnie Prince Charlie.
We will also stop at Clava Cairns, a well-preserved group of prehistoric burial cairns and standing stones. This is considered the “location” of Craigh na Dun where Clair begins her time travel adventure.
